Indian spices and health benefit

 Indian spices which are used by Indian or worldwide for cooking, they have many health benefits. According to Ayurveda, Indians are using spices and herbs from thousand of years in Indian food or recipes or day to day life. Spices like turmeric, garlic, ginger, cinnamon and different variety of seeds makes the food delicious as well as healthy. It is scientifically proven that if you use right amount of  spices and herbs in your diet, It will prevent you from many diseases and also boost's your immunity. Here I am sharing info about some spices and seeds which I am using in my kitchen/////

Turmeric Powder:
                               Turmeric is known as a healing medicine in all over world. Turmeric gives a nice taste and color to your food and along with it prevents you from many diseases. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory property and full of anti-oxidants. It prevent us from diseases like cancer,Alzheimer's and heart problem.You can also drink turmeric milk or turmeric tea to prevent you from cold and flu.You can buy supplement  as well. Cinnamon Stick/Powder : 
                                          Cinnamon stick/powder is my second favorite spice. I always use this when I cook any curry recipe and it gives awesome taste to my food. Beside this, cinnamon has anti- inflammatory property and it normalize your sugar level in blood. People who want to loose weight,they can also drink cinnamon tea with honey.

Coriander Seeds/Powder:
                                           Coriander seeds/powder also make your food tasty, healthy and aromatic. I always use roasted seeds in my curry recipes, rather than packed one. Coriander seeds promotes gut health and also improve digestion. It also makes your complexion better if you drink coriander seeds tea.

Cumin Seeds/Powder :
                       Cumin seeds are always used in dal tadka recipe, dal makhani and curry recipe. It also increases your food good taste and aroma. I use cumin seeds for tadka and cumin powder for making any curry recipe. Cumin is good for digestion,boost's immunity and controls your sugar level.

Clove (Lavang): 
              Clove is another useful spice in Indian food. It has very strong flavor and  gives your food spicy hint. According to Ayurveda lavang is very useful and used for cold, nausea, fever and infection.
Clove is well known to balancing three doshas(Vata doshas,Pitta doshas,Kapha doshas) and It removes toxins in our system.
It gives great pain relief  for toothache, headache and joint pain.

Bay leaf/Tejpatta :
                                Bay leaf is well used spice in Indian cooking and it gives good aroma to your food . It increases taste and flavor to your soup,stew,sauce and curry recipes. Bay leaves increases digestion and stomach bloating. Bay leaves are good source of vitamin A,C, Iron,Calcium and other vitamins.

Black Pepper/Kali Mirch :
                                            Black pepper is commonly used spice in all over world. Black pepper has very strong spicy taste and makes your food,sauce and soups more delicious. According to Ayurveda 
It's known as 'king of spices' and used as anti-inflammatory medicine, anti bacterial, remove's stomach bloating, promote's gut bacteria and for healthy heart. Other Spices :
                         I uses some packed powdered spices for making my curry recipes like, Meat masala, Curry masala,Chole masala,Cumin powder,Coriander powder and Vegetable masala.
