Chole bhature recipe at home is one of the most popular Indian dish. Chole is served with Bhature or Puri with rice, most of the time. This curry recipe is very delicious and protein rich.The basic Ingredient of Chole curry recipe is chickpeas. Chickpeas also used for making chana masala and falafel. In all over India people used to cook Chole curry in many different ways, Everybody has his own way to cook.Some people uses teabags while cooking for giving more taste and flavor but you can make this without teabag also. In Chole curry there are so many spices which makes this curry more delicious either you are not using teabag. So lets start cooking with me////

Ingredient list for chole bhature recipe:
For Puree :
- Onion : 2(sliced)
- Garlic : 4-5(sliced)
- Ginger : 1inch(sliced)
- Green Chilli : 1(sliced) You can take more as per your taste
Roasted Spices for chole bhature recipe:
- Funnel seeds : 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander seeds : 1/2 teaspoon
- Green cardamom : 2 pieces
- Cloves : 4-5 pieces
Other Ingredients and Spices for chole bhature recipe:
- Chickpeas : 150 gm(overnight soaked)
- Tomato : 2(chopped
- Onion : 1(chopped)
- Bay leaf : 2(tejpatta)
- Cumin seeds : 1/4 teaspoon
- Cinnamon stick : 1 small
- Turmeric powder : 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder : 1/2 teaspoon
- Curry masala : 1 teaspoon
- Meat masala: 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala : 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder : 1/2 teaspoon
- Water : 2 cups
- Salt : 1-2 teaspoon(as per your taste)
- Coriander leaves : 3-4 branches(chopped)
- Take a pressure cooker,pressure cook chickpeas for 10-12 whistles on medium flame.
- Heat a pan, mix raw spices(cumin seeds,bay seeds,cinnamon stick,large cardamom) stir fry it for 1-2 minutes.
- Add chopped onion saute until it become brown. Mix all spices(turmeric,coriander powder,curry masala, garam masala, meat masala,red chilli powder) in pan,saute it for 2 minutes.
- Add puree(onion, garlic,ginger,green chilli) in pan,mix it properly and cover the lid. Let it cook for 9-10 minutes.
- Add chopped tomato,chopped coriander and salt in masala puree,cover the lid. cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Spices and tomatoes are cooked, Mix properly all the ingredients after that add roasted ground spices and mix it well. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Add boiled chickpeas in gravy, mix it. Then add water and let it cook for for 15-20 minutes on medium heat.
- Chole Bhature Recipe is ready for serving. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with Bhature and Rice.
For Bhature :
- Bhature Ingredient list for bhature recipe : All purpose flour-1 and half cup, Wheat flour- half cup, Carom seeds-1/4 teaspoon,Coriander leaves-2 branches(chopped),Yogurt-1 cup,Salt-1/4 teaspoon.
- Take a bowl mix all the ingredients and make a nice and smooth dough cover it properly. Keep aside for 1-2 hours.
- Take small part of dough,make small and smooth bolls. Roll it from the help of roller.
- Bhature are ready for serve with Chole. Enjoy with family and friends.
